●コース概要
大納言小豆発祥の地と言われる東中バス停を出発し、佐中峠を目指して南へ進みます。しばらくすると丹波森の径（雄岳・雌岳の径）として三尾山方面・黒頭峰方面を示す縦走路の分岐点があります。ここからコースを外れ、コブシで知られる三尾山方面へと足を伸ばします。モミジが美しい谷筋を過ぎ、そのまま雑木林の中の急な坂道を登り切ると、鏡峠方面と三尾山方面への分岐点にたどり着きます。ここからは旧春日町方面や岩肌を覗かせる三尾山の眺望がすばらしく、これまでの疲れを忘れさせてくれます。再びコースに戻り、佐中峠を後に緩やかな下り道をしばらく進むと、やがて佐仲ダムにたどり着きます。しばらく歩くと丹波地方特産の山の芋の産地、黒豆の館、シャクナゲセンターがあり、地域の特産品を楽しむことができます。コースを進んでいくと最後には桜並木があり、その並木をくぐり抜けると終点の垣屋バス停に到着します。

●多紀連山県立自然公園 Taki Renzan Prefectural Natural Park
多紀連山県立公園は、篠山盆地の北側に連なる多紀連山を中心とした地域と、北に竹田川の谷を隔てた妙高山地域、南に篠山川をはさんだ弥十郎ヶ岳地域からなります。本コースにある三尾山をはじめ、八ヶ尾山、小金ヶ嶽、西ヶ嶽、主峰の御嶽の山々がなる多紀連山は、別名多紀アルプスとも呼ばれています。
Taki Renzan Prefectural Natural Park consists of three areas: the Taki mountain range on the north side of the Sasayama Basin, the Mt. Myoko area separated by the Takeda River valley to the north, and the Mt. Yajurogatake area across the Sasayama River to the south. The Taki mountain range, which includes Mt. Mitsuo on this course as well as Mt. Hachigao, Mt. Koganegatake, Mt. Nishigatake, and the main peak Mt. Mitake, is also known as the “Taki Alps.” (“Renzan” means“mountain range” in Japanese.)
●黒豆の館 Kuromame no Yakata
レストランで提供している黒豆の産地ならではのオリジナルメニューをはじめ、新鮮野菜や加工品の販売コーナーもあり、地元の味覚をまるごと味わえます。
This is a community food and event hub. The restaurant serves original dishes typical of this black bean-producing region. Fresh vegetables and processed products are also available for purchase, providing a complete experience of local flavors.
●山の芋の産地 Japanese mountain yam production area
山の芋は、ごつごつとした外観とは対照的に、すりおろすと純白できめ細やかな粘りけがあり、人気のある特産品の一つです。丹波篠山市上板井周辺一帯は、この山の芋の産地として有名です。
In contrast to its rough exterior, Japanese mountain yam has a pure white, smooth, and sticky texture when grated. It is one of the region’s specialty products, and the area around Kami-Itai in the city of Tamba-Sasayama is a major production center for Japanese mountain yam.
●大納言小豆発祥の地 The birthplace of Dainagon adzuki beans
春日町東中は大納言小豆発祥の地です。この小豆は、俵形で大粒、色鮮やかな逸品です。徳川幕府に献上していた頃、煮ても腹が割れず崩れないことから名づけられたといわれます。大納言とは太政官の次官で、殿中（江戸城）で刀を抜いても切腹しなくてよい役職でした。
The Higashinaka area (Kasuga-cho, Tamba) is the birthplace of the Dainagon adzuki bean. It is one of Japan’s notable varieties, large and oval-shaped with a vivid color. The name is said to come from the time when it was presented to the Tokugawa shogunate, because the beans do not split or break apart when boiled. “Dainagon” refers to a title for a high-ranking official who could draw a sword inside Edo castle without being required to commit ritual suicide—a symbolic connection to the bean’s unbroken form.
●三尾山 Mt. Mitsuo
西多紀アルプスの主峰（標高596ｍ）で三つの峰を持つ険峻な山肌は、チャートが大岩壁や巨岩奇岩となって露出しており、4月にはコブシ(タムシバ)が咲く美しい山です。コブシが終わると淡黄色のヒカゲツツジが点々と咲きます。古くは山城で山頂には三尾城址の石碑が建っています。また山頂付近には矢の材料として植えられたヤダケが多く生えています。
Mt. Mitsuo, the highest mountain in the Nishitaki Alps at 596 meters, has three distinct peaks. Its slopes expose chert in massive rock walls and large, unusual boulders. In April, willow-leaf magnolias bloom, followed by pale yellow hikagetsutsuji (Rhododendron keiskei) flowers scattered across the slopes. The mountain historically served as a fortress and a stone monument marking the site of Mitsuo Castle stands on the summit. Near the summit, arrow bamboo grows abundantly, originally planted as material for arrows.
●佐仲ダム Sanaka Dam
多紀連山県立自然公園内にある佐仲ダムでは、ヘラブナやワカサギ釣り、キャンプなどが楽しめるほか、健康保安林に指定される周辺の森林には散策路も整備されています。
Sanaka Dam, located within the Taki Renzan Prefectural Natural Park, provides opportunities for white crucian carp and Japanese smelt fishing as well as camping. The surrounding forests are designated Protected Forests for Health under the Forest Act and the walking trails are well maintained.
